Regarding Our Consolidated Financial Results, Both Consolidated Net Sales And Ordinary Income Achieved Record Highs Due Primarily To Increases In Sales By All Segments, Including The Automobile Segment, Marking Increases For The Ninth Consecutive Year. Toyota Industries Will Distribute A Year-end Cash Dividend Of 32 Yen Per Share, An Increase Of 4 Yen Per Share Over The Previous Fiscal Year. Including The Interim Cash Dividend Of 28 Yen Per Share, Which Was Approved In November 2007, Cash Dividends For The Year Totaled 60 Yen Per Share, An Increase Of 10 Yen Per Share. This Marks The Eighth Consecutive Year Of An Increase In Cash Dividends. Our Dividend Policy Is To Pay Dividends That Meet The Expectations Of Our Shareholders, Taking Into Consideration Such Factors As Our Business Results And Fund Requirements, While Also Placing Emphasis On The Consolidated Payout Ratio. For The Fiscal Year Ending March 31, 2009, We Expect An Even Harsher Business Environment In View Of Concerns Over A Further Surge In Raw Materials Prices, Fluctuations In Exchange Rates And A Delayed Recovery Of The U.s. Economy That May In Turn Impact The Global Economy. Under Such Challenging Conditions, We Acknowledge That Such Changes In The External Environment Are Not A Brief Interlude And Will Strive To Enhance Overall Quality As The Toyota Industries Group Through Outside-the-box Thinking And Fresh Perspectives. To This End, We Will Make Concerted Efforts To Promote The Development Of Advanced Technologies To Offer High Value-added Products That Anticipate Customer Needs. We Will Also Aim To Strengthen And Enhance Our Sales And Service Structures As Well As Our Value Chains While Engaging In Group-wide Cost Improvement Activities.
