This Year We Will Concentrate On Further Restructuring Of Operations, Complete A "company-wide Global Structure", Enhance The Number And Quality Of Our Operations At Home And Abroad, And Look To The Dramatic Expansion Of Our Global Businesses With A Focus On Integrated Logistics Solutions Connecting Japan And Our Overseas Customers. Expanding The Business By Linking Groups For Synergy Last Year Hitachi Collabonext Transport System Co., Ltd. (formerly Shiseido Logistics Co., Ltd.) And The Esa In The Czech Republic Were Incorporated Into Hitachi Transport System Group In April And November Respectively. As A Result, We Now Have 51 Group Companies And 370 Business Sites In Japan And Internationally. These Two Examples Of Integration Exemplify One Facet Of Our Strategy In Accordance With Our Vision 2010. In My Opinion, Business Integration As Expressed In The Formula, "1+1=2" Is Not A Success At All, But Business Integration Expressed As "1+1=2+α Is Invariably A Success, In Which Both Partners Can Receive The Full Benefits Of Synergy. We Will Work To Develop Our Business By Taking Maximum Advantage Of Both Our Special Features, And Those Of Our Partners. Playing Our Part In Helping Make A Better Society As One Of The Leading Companies In The Industry, We Will Address The Csr (corporate Social Responsibility) Goals In Our Vision 2010, And Meet The Expectations Of Stakeholders Such As Customers And Local Communities. Specifically, The Vision Demands That We Respond Positively To Challenges In Such Fields As The Environment, Quality, Safety, Social And Community Contribution, Information Security, And Internal Controls.
