Umenohana Provides Its Customers With An Opportunity To Enjoy Truly Fine Dining. Our Service Is Friendly And Efficient And We Work Hard To Ensure That Each Of Our Customers Goes Away Satisfied And Happy. Umenohana's First Restaurant, Kanishige, Specializing In Crab Cuisine, Opened In 1976 In Kurume, In Southern Japan. The Restaurant Flourished And We Opened New Ones One After Another. Encouraged By This Success, Our Menu Was Expanded To Include Mongolian Mutton Barbecue And Blowfish Dishes. However, Initially, These New Restaurants Were Not Successful. I Prayed At A Local Temple For Guidance, And One Day During My Visit To The Temple I Found Its Homily Suggesting That We Should Be Thankful To People And For Substance. Although I Had Seen It For A Long Period, I Did Not Notice It At All. All At Once, It Hit Me That This Attitude Of Gratitude Was Lacking In Me. Then, I Visited Many Prosperous Restaurants And Noticed That The Employees Were Treated Well And Enjoyed Pleasant Working Atmospheres. A Belief That A Sincere Feeling Of Gratitude And An Appreciation For Simple Substance Triggered The Beginning Of The Umenohana Story. I Decided To Build An Entire Menu Around The Simple Foods, Tofu And Yuba, Because They Represented Good And Healthy Sustenance. Strenuous Efforts Have Been Made To Design Beautiful Restaurants, Tableware, Customer Service, Bgm, Staff Uniforms, And Reproduction Of The Seasons Throughout Our Theme Restaurants. When Dining Out, People Expect Delicious Meals And A Comfortable And Pleasant Atmosphere. This Is My Personal Experience In Which I Have Taken Notice Of The Fact That Restaurants Are Places Where People Want To Enjoy Something More Than Simply Eating.
